About Me

I began my piano studies as a child, taking several years of music lessons. I earned my degree in Music Composition and Business Administration from Ohio Northern University where piano was my focal instrument. When I made the career decision to become a piano technician, I was extremely fortunate to find excellent private instruction and mentoring through The Piano Technicians' Guild.

I have been a member of the The Piano Technicians' Guild since 2004. I am a Registered Piano Technician, meaning that I have passed a series of examinations and have met the requirements guaranteeing knowledge and ability in piano tuning, maintenance and repair; and I have agreed to adhere to the PTG's Code of Ethics.

I am always looking to advance my skills and knowledge of the industry through reading, working and learning from other experts.  I make efforts to attend piano workshops, seminars and conventions whenever possible.  In May 2010, I graduated from Yamaha Piano Corporation's Little Red Schoolhouse.
